Q & A
Q: - What do you think is the future of flash, and micro-fiction in general? Lydia

LL:I’m no expert on Flash, although I do enjoy writing it on occasion, but I believe the market is strong and growing. Or so the Flash Fiction Flash Newsletter would tell me. Thanks for the question!

Q: As a fellow Sniplits author, I wonder if you prefer writing short stories to other forms of writing. Always interested in the opinion of a published writer. Thanks, Tom Anselm

LL: Short answer: yes! I like reading short stories, I like writing short stories. I like the pace, the tight structure, the lack of padding, and the almost instant gratification that comes with the short form. I've written book-length and I've written non-fiction, but the vast majority of my writing is short fiction. Despite my surname. Thanks for the question.
