After teaching writing and literature in college for twenty-five years, Wayne Scheer retired to follow his own advice and write. Two of his stories, Unspoken Words and Morning Routine and his poem Cousin Harold were nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He has a previous Pushcart Prize nomination and also was nominated for Best of the Net.


His work has appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Notre Dame Magazine, The Pedestal, flashquake, Pindedyboz, Eclectica, Blood Orange Review, River Walk Journal, The Potomac and Triplopia.


Wayne lives in Atlanta with his wife.
